What is a Giving Circle?
From www.GivingForum.org:
"A Giving Circle is a pooled fund, generally hosted or sponsored by a charitable organization such as a community foundation, through which members make grants together."
What is CARE?
From the CARE website:
"CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. We place special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. Women are at the heart of CARE's community-based efforts to improve basic education, prevent the spread of HIV, increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunity and protect natural resources. CARE also delivers emergency aid to survivors of war and natural disasters, and helps people rebuild their lives."
Where does CARE work?
"CARE works in poor communities in more than 70 developing countries around the world. These countries and communities lack the resources to overcome poverty."
Where do donations go?
"The majority of our donors want their gift to be used wherever the need is greatest. This allows CARE the flexibility to use resources as efficiently as possible. CARE's financial records are available to the public. Ninety one percent of our expended resources support program activities. Nine percent of expended resources go toward administrative and fund-raising expenditures. We conform to the highest accounting and financial standards."
What is MORE?
From the More Magazine website:
"MORE.com is the online companion to MORE, the award-winning magazine that celebrates women 40+. MORE.com invites you interact with our editors, share your stories and find the information and resources you need to live a joyful and successful life at any age."

When I attempt to make a nomination, I'm taken to another site. Is this okay?
